The B4053 was a short link road to the west of Bristol city centre.
It started on the A36 Colston Avenue and headed north along Colston Street, Upper Maudlin Street and Jamaica Street before ending on the A38 Stokes Croft.
In 1935, the road was renumbered as a western extension of the B4051, which it remains.
