The B4089 is a rural – and surprisingly winding – B-road in west mid-Warwickshire.
Originally it started in the centre of Alcester. However, there are now no classified roads in the town and so the B4089 starts at a roundabout to the north, in King's Coughton, where it meets the A435 and the B4090.
The road heads east, quickly crossing the River Arrow, before it TOTSOs right in an industrial estate and then left at a mini-roundabout, where it joins its original route. It now heads northeast through the hamlet of Kinwarton to reach Alne End. It zigzags to the south through the village, nearing – but not crossing – the River Alne before continuing northeastwards via Great Alne and following the river downstream to Little Alne.
At Little Alne there is another detour, this time to the north, before the road goes over the Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon railway line and enters Wootton Wawen. The road turns right at a T-junction before ending soon afterwards on the A3400.
