The B4377 ran though the southern parts of what is now the Telford urban area, starting on its most famous landmark, the Iron Bridge itself, and then heading southwards towards Broseley, before terminating at The Dunge.
The road was renumbered as an extension of the B4373 in 1935.
The B4373 was later rerouted away from the Iron Bridge (which is now closed to vehicular traffic) and so the northernmost section of the ex-B4377 is unclassified.
