This article is about the former A1000 that ran Finsbury Park Station - Muswell Hill.
For the current use of the number on the Great North Road, see A1000.

The 1922 Road Lists describe the A1000 as Finsbury Park Station - Muswell Hill, making it a short road in north London. In the 1920s this was on the edge of the urban area, a fact that is emphasised by its number: a London road would have been A12xx.
Starting on the A503 by Finsbury Park station the road headed northwest along Stroud Green Road before climbing Crouch Hill into Crouch End for a brief multiplex with the A103. The road then ran along Park Road to end on the A504.
It is not known how long the A1000 lasted although the current incarnation of the number dates to after World War II giving a terminus ante quem. The road is now an extension of the A1201.
