This article is about the original A1054 at Seaham, County Durham.

In the original 1922 road numbering, the A1054 number was allocated to a route in Seaham, south of Sunderland.
It started on the A19 (now B1285) and headed east along Station Road, passing the station before bearing slightly northward along Tempest Road and ending at the sea front in what is now Seaham town centre (then a separate settlement from Seaham called Seaham Harbour). The B1287 headed north from here along the coast.
The road is now redundant and is made up of two B-roads, the B1404 to the west of the railway line and B1287 to the east. The former level crossing by the station has now been closed and the road rerouted to cross a bridge to the south.
