The A1097 was a short road in the Lincolnshire town of Louth. It was classified as a Class I route by 1st April, 1926, though unusually for new A roads of that area, was not previously a B road.
The road started on the A157 Westgate and headed east along St Mary's Lane, to the north of the town centre, for under half a mile, ending on the A16 Grimsby Road.
The road was downgraded following the construction of the A16 western bypass and it is now a spur of the B1200. It is possible that the road was already a spur by this time and the A1097 number disappeared earlier.
