For the original A1025 in Norwich, see A1025 (Norwich).
The A1025 is a short link road in the New Town of Harlow.
The road starts at a signalised roundabout on the main A414, which at this point is heading between Old Harlow and the M11. The road heads west along Second Avenue, a typical New Town distributor in that it provides no access to residential areas but is liberally scattered with roundabouts.
At the third roundabout, in the town centre, the A1019 comes in from the north after which the A1025 moves onto Third Avenue. This is dual-carriageway past a retail park to the next roundabout. On this stretch there is a set of traffic lights on the eastbound carriageway only providing access to/from a car park. Now S2 once again, there is an unexpected set of traffic lights serving the estate to the south, followed immediately by a road turning off to the north. The road ends shortly afterwards at a roundabout on the A1169, which continues Third Avenue to the west. This roundabout is an unusual oval shape, suggesting future-proofing for a plan that never made it past the drawing board.
