The B4526 is a short B-road in south Oxfordshire. It was originally part of the B479 but gained its number in the early 1930s.
The road starts at a T-junction on the B4009 immediately east of a railway bridge in Goring. That road TOTSOs left whilst we turn right alongside the railway line then take the first left turn; the unclassified road ahead passes the station before petering out near the Thames.
We head east along the suburban Reading Road; the road is lined with large houses set back behind trees so it's not obvious when we leave the village. However, we do reach open fields and climb to the east, passing between woods and then reaching the settlement of Cray's Pond, where we are crossed by the B471 presumably by the eponymous pond.
The B4526 continues through a wood to reach Goring Heath. The road originally bore right, following the priority that still exists, to end on the B479 (now A4074) on Chazey Heath. However, there's now a poorly signed TOTSO left through another wood to end on the A4074 further north.
