The B4552 was a short link road in Castle Bromwich, now within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull. The road was originally unclassified but appears to have gained its number in 1935.
The road started on the A452 just south of Castle Bromwich Bridge over the River Tame and followed Chester Road southeastwards past Castle Bromwich Hall before crossing the B4118 Birmingham Road. On the far side Hall Road was followed and the B4552 ended shortly afterwards on the A47 Bradford Road.
The northern end of the road was severed when M6 J5 was built and indeed part of the road has been lost under the roundabout. The remainder of Chester Road is now unclassified whilst the B4118 has been rerouted and taken over Hall Road. As such the B4552 no longer exists.
