The B4444 is a short B-road in the Princes Risborough area. It was originally unclassified but had gained its number by 1932.
The road starts by the Red Lion in Longwick where it turns off the A4129. There's a short southerly run through the village before we reach a T-junction on the B4009 immediately adjacent to a bridge under the Chiltern Main Line; we turn right under the bridge and multiplex along that road for a short distance.
The B4444 quickly regains its number by turning left, signposted to Princes Risborough station. We follow a flat route across country before reaching the edge of town just before we go under the railway line again. Just afterwards there's another, narrower railway bridge, with traffic flow controlled by traffic lights, which carries the line to Aylesbury.
Continuing south, there's a right turn to the station as we bear left onto Station Road. After another left-hand bend the B4444 splits. Traffic wanting to head south should turn right whilst the town centre is straight ahead. Both spurs end at sharply angled junctions on the A4010.
