This article is about the former B4485 in the east of Worcester.

The semi-circular route of Wylds Lane in Worcester was perhaps the pre-turnpike route of what is now the A44, but that route never followed it. Unclassified in 1922, the eastern half may later have become part of an extended B4205, before the whole route became the B4485. However, it is not clear from old maps exactly what happened, with one map showing the route as the B4085, despite that route having existed on its current route near Evesham since 1922.
Whatever the correct chronology, the route was relatively short lived, and today the western half is unclassified, with the eastern half more sensibly part of an extended B4205.
