Route outline (key)
B782 Link at West Kilbride
The southern end of the B782

The B782 is a short link road to the north of the Ayrshire town of West Kilbride.

It starts on the B781 Main Street in the narrow streets of West Kilbride town centre and heads north along Hunterston Road before reaching a roundabout on the B7048.

Continuing ahead the B782 quickly reaches open country. It remains narrow as it crosses the fields, descending as it does so. Eventually the road bears to the left to end at a T-junction on the A78. Although this is the coast road there is no sign of the sea.
