|Route outline (key)|
The B755 is described in the 1922 Road Lists as a Bye-Pass W. of Hamilton.
The route starts at traffic lights at a junction of the A72 and A724 to the west of Hamilton town centre, heading west along Wellhall Road and immediately crossing the Lanark to Glasgow railway line. (A short spur along Peacock Way from another set of lights on the A724 is also part of the B755.) 500 metres further on we reach a mini-roundabout and turn left into Chantinghall Road, which is largely residential although the locale is surprisingly green. The B755 continues southwestward into Mill Road before ending at a mini-roundabout on the A723.
