B715 Ravenstruther - Lanark
This article is about the original B715 to the east of Lanark.
For the current B715 further north, see B715

Ravenstruther

The B715 was a short link road to the east of Lanark.

It started on the A70 (which had come along the Pentland Hills from Edinburgh) and headed west for a couple of miles, to end on the A72 (now A73) in the centre of Lanark.

The road was quickly upgraded to Class I status, becoming the A743, the first A7xx number to be allocated after the original 1922 classification. The road remains this number.
