The C20w starts at the crossroads with the B798 and B7043 in the centre of Leswalt and heads west, crossing the Bridge of Aldouran, before clibing steeply up onto High Kirkland Hill. Dipping to cross the Glengyre Burn, the route then meanders north west to meet the B738 at Douloch.
