This article is about the Class III road numbered C7w maintained by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
For other roads numbered C7, see C7.
For other roads numbered C7, see C7.
The C7w starts on the B7005 at Culshabben and heads north, climbing a little to reach Mochrum Loch. The road sticks close to the east shore of the loch, and then continues north across the moorland, with other smaller lochs to either side. After a long straight, the road dips down to cross the Tarf Water, before another long straight section leads it to the B733 a little to the west of Kirkcowan.
