The C27n is a long straight road which climbs up the hill from the B725 in Glencaple. It follows Church Street out of the village, and apart from a slight kink immediately after the junction, it climbs in a straight line to the summit at Muirpark. It then drops slightly to reach the C12n near Bankend.
