This article is about the Class III road numbered C44s maintained by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
For other roads numbered C44, see C44.
For other roads numbered C44, see C44.
The C44s starts on the A75 at the roundabout at Drummore and heads south west to pick up the old line which met the A75 further west. It then runs south through Lochfoot and past Lochrutton Loch, before climbing a little over a low ridge. A zig-zag descent past Foreside turns the road east to meet the A711 at Lochanhead.
