This article is about the Class III road numbered C3w maintained by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
For other roads numbered C3, see C3.
For other roads numbered C3, see C3.
The C3w is listed as starting on the A75 in Glenluce. This suggests that it includes part of the former A75 route through the village, and the more likely part if the western section. The route therefore starts at the west end of the bypass and follows Main Street into the village, where it turns right onto North Street. Quickly leaving the village behind, the route heads north east, climbing over the hill to cross the Tarf Water at Tarf Bridge. Continuing north east, much of the old moorland is now forested on either side of the road. It then dips a little to the Bladnoch Water, where it crosses Glassoch Bridge to immediately end on the B7027.
