This article is about the Class III road numbered C21a maintained by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
For other roads numbered C21, see C21.
For other roads numbered C21, see C21.
The C21a starts on the B7020 near the northern edge of Lochmaben and heads north west along Mossvale, passing Mill Loch as it leaves the small town behind. After passing through Whitereed Wood, it drops a little to cross the Water of Ae at Elshieshields Bridge, coming to an end midway across at the old district boundary. The road continues, turning north to eventually reach the A701.
