|Route outline (key)|
The B804 is a short B-road in north Lanarkshire.
It starts at a roundabout on the A89 and A725 on the eastern edge of Coatbridge town centre. The road heads north, running along a short section of Main Street before becoming residential. On the northern edge of town there is a short multiplex along the B803 between adjacent mini-roundabouts over the North Clyde Line.
The road reaches open country and continues north. It crosses a valley and reaches Glenboig where it goes under the Glasgow to Cumbernauld railway line at a narrow bridge controlled by traffic lights. The road then heads west through town and skirts Marnock. The road soon goes over the M73 just to the north of J2A, which unusually links with an unclassified road. The B804 ends shortly afterwards at a T-junction on the A752 opposite Johnston Loch and just to the north of the roundabout where the M73 link road ends up.
