The original B3 started at the end of the A10 at Bride and curved around the north coast of the island to reach the A3 at Ballaugh Bridge. However, by 1963 it had been completely renumbered as an extension of the A10, which it remains today.
The Manx Government Circular 1131 of 25/02/1926 defines this route as: Bride (Smeale Road) Jurby West to Ballaugh
