The B8 is a short route along the foothills at Sulby at the northern end of the Isle of Man. It starts on the A3 towards the eastern end of the village and heads west on Yn Claddagh, quickly leaving the village behind, although houses continue to be dotted along the roadside. A sharp right hand turn over a small bridge is soon followed by a sharp left hander, which is provided with a minute section of D1 dual carriageway! Beyond this the route soon emerges into Sulby Claddagh, an area of parkland set out on the banks of the Sulby River, with the hills rising steeply to the south. A couple of parking areas are provided, and several picnic benches, while the road runs between wooden posts set into the verge to prevent traffic straying onto the grassy parkland. At the far end, another sharp double bend takes the B8 over the River, and it ends soon after at a crossroads on the A14 towards the western end of Sulby.
