For the original B19, now A26, see B19 (Glen Vine - Ballasalla).
The B19 is a short route which starts at a staggered crossroads on the A15 at Ballajora near Maughold. The A15 turns sharply right, with the B19 continuing ahead along Dreemskerry Road, which climbs between buildings, turning sharply to the right itself after a few yards. Beyond the small village, the route follows a long curving line between forestry and a small quarry to reach Dreemskerry, a couple of dozen large, mostly detached houses enjoying the views out across Ramsey Bay. The B19 narrows a little, and becomes windier as it drops down the steep slopes, but the trees come to an end offering those same expansive views across the Bay and on to the cliffs beyond. The route then has one final, short straight to its terminal junction, a sharp fork with the A2 at Lewaigue. Vehicles over 7.5T are prohibited from turning left out of the B19, which climbs steeply up the hill.
