The original B1 on the Isle of Man ran around the coast from the A2 south of Ramsey, through Port e Vullen, Maughold and Ballajora back to the A2 at The Hibernian. By 1963 it had been renumbered as the A15, which it remains to this day.
The Manx Government Circular 1131 of 25/02/1926 defines this route as: Port Lewaigue to Hibernian via Maughold Church
