This article is about the former, defunct B760 west of Cambuslang.

The B760 number was quickly re-used nearby after the original route became the A763. This happened between 1927 and 1932, with the number being applied to Dukes Road. This started on the A74, later the A724 at Silverbank and curved south west to meet the A749 at Burnside Station. Changes to the route of the B716 meant that at some point between 1949 and 1955 the route was slightly curtailed, with the B716 taking over the western end of Dukes Road where it runs alongside the railway. The B760 was definitely still on this route in 1968, but was subsequently renumbered as part of the B762. This probably happened in the late 1970s when the B762 was moved to its current route.
