Via Kings Road, the C265 crosses the A55 (Knock Road). Just before crossing the Knock River towards Tullycarnet, the road passes the C269 (Gilnahirk Road). Upon reaching the eastern edge of Belfast, the road reaches the western edge of Dundonald close to its junction with the C378. The road ends on the A22 in the south of the town.
