The C32 is an urban route lying on a SE - NW alignment through Newtownabbey. At its southern end its starts on the A2 in the Whitehouse area of the large town. Almost immediately the different directions of traffic are forked in half as they pass around the Abbey Shopping Centre on different sides. The two forks meet up once more at a roundabout at the heart of a large retailer park. Beyond here the road passes to the east of Valley Park and crosses the B513 at a roundabout. The road continues up the hill towards Carnmoney, where it encounters a multiplex with the C31 at a roundabout which continues until just around the left corner. Shortly afterwards, the road ends on a roundabout on the B90.
